15x10 vs 15x8 question

i have a set of 33x1250x15 BFG mud terrains on 15x10s and they appear wider than the mastercraft LT 33x1250x15 that are on 15x8s. will the 10s give you a wider footprint then?

Yes the wider rim will push the sidewalls out on your tire, thus making them wider.
