Rear Window Defroster Fuse

I've got a 2012 EcoBoost SuperCrew with a power sliding rear window. Recently, the rear window defroster just stopped working. The light on the switch doesn't turn on, nor does it defrost. I assume it might be a blown fuse. Looked through my owner's manual but can't locate the associated fuse.
Has anyone had this issue with the defroster before? If so, how did you resolve it? Or does anyone know what the right fuse location is?
Thanks!

Same here. Tried turning the defroster on, no light. Light flicked on for a minute, few minutes later my rear window shattered. Funny how so many people have had the same thing happen but Ford still refuses to acknowledge that it is a problem.

I'm having this same issue with Ford Canada right now. I tried calling Ford corporate, but they insist there is no ESP department. I got a general customer service rep that was of no assistance. The rep simply called the dealer, and the dealer told the rep exactly what they told me and the issue went nowhere.
Does anyone have a number for the ESP department? Does Ford Canada not have one?
My glass doesn't even have a scratch on it. However, they refuse to acknowledge that this is an electrical issue and is therefore covered by my ESP. I received the same excuse that the "computer doesn't allow it".
Thanks.

PS: I read this on another post on the internet:
In most cases, it is the rear window switch on the sliding window. If you are in warranty, take it to the dealer.
I have chosen to live with out it rather, than spend the money to replace the rear glass.
There appears to be a magnetic switch in the fixed frame on the drivers side. I assume this is where the problem is.
Also be sure your rear window is closed all the way.

Noxx - I have a 2012 F150 Platinum, Ecoboost, 4x4, with the exact same rear window defroster problem. I just quit working without incident and I have no idea where the fuse for it is located, if that is even the source of the problem. Its not listed in the Owner's Manual in the list of fuses and relays, p328 etc. I also have the sliding rear window and heated mirrors, which all seem to be tied together electrically. ...

Yes Sir, I saw that in the owners manual.
thank you...
Those are the circuit breakers and relays to those "larger" circuits. I am specifically looking for a blown FUSE in the fusebox, specifically for the rear window defroster. The rear window still moves and operates normally, so I know those circuit breakers and relays are working normally and making a complete connection for the larger overall circuit. There must be some separate smaller circuit protection, like a fuse, on that defroster "sub-branch" of that whole larger circuit "branch" that is covered by the circuit breaker and relays. Of the larger circuit meaning, the side door windows, rear sliding window and defroster and heated mirrors that are all powered together in the larger circuit, the only thing on that whole big circuit that is NOT working is the rear window defrost. There has to be some fuse or something that has failed that covers only the rear window defroster. Unless Ford has found a way to manipulate the laws of electric physics something has broken the rear window defroster "sub-circuit". Someone elsewhere mentioned something about a magnetic switch on the sliding window mechanism that fails. I will check on that. They said that when the window is slid open, the defroster, by design, will not function, and if that sliding magnetic switch fails to maintain contact, the defroster will not work, even if the window is slid closed. My rear window opens and closes but that switch may have failed. anyway, i hope I explained it better and thanks for you help.
