Default Rear Differential Fluid Change Help

Hey I need to change my rear differential oil on my 2011 F150 XL RWD. What do I need and How do I change the oil? Thanks guys

Its pretty cut and dry really.
Remove fill plug (or at least loosen)
Remove cover bolts
pull the cover
drain fluid
wipe residual oil
Reinstall cover with new gasket
Fill diff with new fluid
Reinstall fill plug
Check for leaks

Do u know how much torque are the cover bolts? Can find it in the manual.

33 lb. ft.
I wouldn't bother with a gasket, I'd just use RTV silicone.

Make sure to clean the contacting faces of the diff cover and the pumpkin. Use a plastic scraper to get all of the old gasket off. Once you reapply the diff cover, wait about half an hour for the RTV to dry before filling up the differential. Also do you have limited slip?

I am not sure it says that the Rear Axle Type is Semi-Floating. For limited slip u need a friction modifier right?
