Real world mileage on the 5.0 v8.
I have seen a lot of posts on this forum about gas mileage by the F 150 crewcab EcoBoost but I am wondering what real-world mileage is on the 5.0 liter v8 f150 crew cab highway only. I would like those that use pen and paper to figure their mpg to respond, because I know the computer readings are not always accurate. Thank you

1) HINT/TIP: Without providing vehicle information (year, model, cab, trim, wheelbase, _x4 drive, etc.) the post is meaningless.
.
2) HINT/TIP: There are 2 versions of the 5.0L V8 - Windsor and Triton (a.k.a. Coyote). And which one you're referring to is dependent upon year of the vehicle.

Not a Supercrew, but supercab 4x4 6.5 foot bed 3.55 gears. I get a consistent 18 to 18.5 at 75 to 80mph on flat ground and if in the hills about 17.5. Ohio to Florida at 80 or better on the highway average was 18 .1.

Everyone, thanks for taking time out and replying, it has been a big help in my decision which engine to get in my new truck.

I dont need to get a pen out as my truck is close as I could ask for. 17.6 running around town with short hops on the big road.I have no idea what to expect on a trip with out towing yet.I have gotten 15+ but was lead footing it some seeing what it could do and was impressed, it doesn't take much lead/foot to drop the mileage
