Default Question about COTUS

First post here, but I've appreciated all of the information I've gleaned from this forum.

I have a truck on order, was told by my dealership that it's due to be build tomorrow, Jan 3.

I've got the VIN, order number, etc, and have tried using the COTUS site last week and today, but it says 'matching vehicle could not be confirmed...contact dealer'

Dealer doesn't have an answer.

Any thoughts? I'd like to follow along....

Ordered my truck October 24th and it arrived January 14th, almost 12 weeks to the day, which is what my dealer said it would take. After the dealer received a VIN# I began checking COTUS 2-3 times a week. The truck is now setting in my driveway and it never did show up on COTUS. They must still be working some bugs out!

Congratulations on your new truck.

I've intermittently been able to track mine on COTUS - more off than on.

The original delivery date was 2/1, 8 days from now. Will see....

I don't know what is going on with Cotus. The link above won't even load the page right now, with 2 different browsers.

This page http://www.cotus.ford.com/ works right this minute, but shows no matching vehicle yet, even though it shows up in Etis with a placeholder build date.

Oh, well.

2 minutes ago, LOL.

Deysha, the Ford Customer Service rep here, was nice enough to run the VIN for me, even though it is for a new Edge.

His info is a Feb. 20 build week, ordered Nov. 4. My dealer could not find that info.

I think Ford has such a large and complicated computer system that they can't keep up.

Such as the ETIS info that comes up for that same VIN. Notice anything unusual, since this is a 2017 Edge Titanium VIN?

And if anyone can get that VIN to work on Cotus, I will owe you a big ATTABOY.

The VIN breaks down perfectly with a VIN Decoder. Oh, well.
