Default Process for replacing ECM/PCM ECM/PCM calibration code?

I am trying to replace my ecm on my 2003 f150 4.6l v8 xl triton truck but I am confused on the whole programming and calibration part. First, where on the picture I attached is the calibration code? Second, if I am going to buy a used or re manufactured ECM, what do I need to do programing and calibrating wise to get it to work with my car? I am confused on the whole process. Any help would be appreciated

the info is on the pcm label. You'll need a scan tool to reset the cluster and pcm before it will start. You may need a minimum of 2 keys too.

You can order it by the part number 3L3A-12A650-DD (engineering number) or the "tear tag" DOI3. You'll still need a perameter reset between the HEC (Instrument Cluster) and the replacement PCM. You'll probably need to see the dealer for that.

If you buy new it will probably need a program. If you find the right one used it wont.

You'll have to get the truck to a dealer for the perameter reset.

interested in cost of having the dealer flash one. Mine went bad probably getting a new one. but I am far from a ford dealer and will have to tow it. so also wonder what people have paid to re-flash it.

Cost varies shop to shop, the industry standard amount of time for such a process is 1hr labor.
