Default Power adjust braked pedal too high

I did a search but didn't find anything quite like my question. I have a 2011 FX4 with the power adjustable brake pedal. Even when I set it to the lowest position it seems like it is still quite a bit higher than I'd like. I've even caught the edge of my shoe on the side of the pedal when having to make a quick stab at the pedal which generates a bit of a pucker factor.

Is there any way to get the pedal lower without tearing it out and bending it (don't think I'm really up for that)

Just a note that both the brake and accelerator pedal move, not just the brake pedal.

Yeah, I noticed that after sticking my head under the dash. I still think lowering the brake pedal closer to the floor would be beneficial. It's not a "I can't reach the pedals" issue, it's how high the pedal - in particular the brake - is off the floor. I realize you don't "heel to toe" the pedals in a truck like it's a sports car but the peddle in my truck just seems too high.

Maybe I need to grow bigger feet - just a 9 1/2

Did you ever figure out this issue? I'm having this same problem with my 2006 f150 after replacing booster and master cylinder..

Unplug the cable from the gas pedal and try to run the motor farther down, to make sure the pedals are synchronized. On some brake pedals, the driven gear is plastic, and it slips on the shaft, causing the brake pedal not to move. There's a brass gear available, but it's expensive (because it's hand-made) and requires substantial disassembly to install. If it affects your truck, it likely affects most trucks of that year, so a used pedal MIGHT have the same problem.

The gear failure doesn't apply to the F150, it only applies to the Expedition. Ford used a different actuator on the 2004-2008 F150.

CV/MGM/LTCs also suffer from the gear problem, so I wasn't sure what vehicle lines were built that way.

Anyone find a fix for this? And, no I don't to move the seat.

i recently picked up a 2004 F150 with adjustable pedals pedals seen to move up and down ok, brake and gas pedals both move together, but the brake pedal sits 3-3.5" higher than the gas pedal.
it's off putting having to lift your entire leg to hit the brake.
Booster looks to have been replaced in this truck. Brakes function great otherwise.

I have owned other 2004-08 f150s and the difference in pedal height in this one is a lot more than in other trucks, or any other vehicle I've owned
