I also have the manual 4x4. When I first bought my truck, I kinda wished it had the push button on-the-fly 4x4 option. I then talked to some people that had F150's, 1 with the manual and 1 with the on-the-fly. With the on-the-fly 4x4, you have to be moving to engage the 4x4. With the manual 4x4, once you lock the hubs and pull the shifter back, you are in 4x4, no moving necessary. And because of that, I love my manual 4x4, because if I get stuck in 4x2, I know I can get out in 4x4.

Yeah, and its not any faster than SOTF if you know you are gonna need 4x4, lock in the hubs before you leave, when the trouble comes reach down and pull her into 4x4...

XLT, not a big fan of leather also. But it would of been nice to have the console shifter, I love that look
