XTR as the xlt was more money with less options and a boring look.

Had an 01 lariat screw 4x4 and leased a 06 xlt scab 4x4. I now own an 05 lariat scab 4x4. Brother had an 01 xlt scab 2x4 and now has an 03 fx4 scab. Father has an 08 xlt scab 4x4 and a 96 xl 350 dually flatbed. Only Ford trucks in this family!

XLT here.

Only item I miss from my '02 Lariat FX4 is the leather. Otherwise the XLT is perfect.

XL for me as well. The only options I would like that I dont have is cruise control, a cloth seat and aluminum wheels. I may work on installing some of that at some point.
