Start at the headlight switch. The plug for the wires on the back melts. So you know, the dash lights are fed off the parking light fuse so when the parking light fuse blows the dash lights also quit. The dash lights also have a separate fuse but since it's fed from the parking light circuit then when that fuse blows there's no power to the gauge fuse.

Weird crap happens in vehicle electronics... I had a Honda Accord and when the horn went out, it took out the brake lights... Replaced the fuse and horn and all good!

Switch is on the dash. You know, the headlight switch that you pull the ****. Yours is a little different than mine, but you need to pull the trim piece off the dash to get to the switch. There's a button on the switch that you press to allow the headlight **** to slide out of the switch so you can get the trim piece off. You'll have to reach up behind to push the button.
