I know on the 14, you can just start peeling. there is a natural 'seam' where the paint will separate once dry enough.

I agree about the whole oval blacked out it looks like crap. I jus wanna paint the back piece that holds the oval on black. I have the red ford lettering on mine.

I did mine just a few weeks ago on my 13' I took off both emblems and taped up the chrome Ford logo and then carefully used a sharp blade to follow the groove around the letter to keep them masked off. I just painted them with a few coats of satin and let them dry overnight. Peel the tape right off and they look pretty good for a cheap mod.

Anyone have pictures of the front logo of on an FX4 with plasti-dip? I'm really intrigued by this! What's the estimated time to do both logos on car including prep time, drying and peeling?
