Default OTD price for new 2014 F150 FX2 SuperCab in So Cal

Hello All,

My name is Ali. I just joined the forum since I am looking to buy a new 2014 F150 FX2. I was told that I should be able to score a good deal but so far it doesn't seem like it. I know the current model is being discontinued to make room for 2015. So far the dealers I have been to are asking 3k below MSRP plus tax / fees but they don't even have the truck I want at their lot . I assume they would get it from another dealer.

I am looking for a Gray color SuperCab FX2 similar to the one in below link.
http://www.inventory.ford.com/servic...FX1CT0EKF38677

Do you think it would be possible to get it for 10k+ below MSRP? Any idea about how to easily locate dealers that would have similar trucks and willing to give a good deal?

I just talked to another dealer and they said they would do 6k off MSRP. No dealer seems to be willing to do a big discount yet.

I would call every dealer I could to check. You will find a deal as they need to get them sold. Good Luck

Rebates vary by region. That being said 15-20% off can be had. If lower rebate area, probably 15% off msrp....

Thanks guys. Yes it seems like there is a high inventory of 2014 f150 but dealers are not motived to sell at high discount at least in my area.

I am sure I could find a deal somewhere in CA. Now I am looking more inland instead OC beach cities.

Check out the lnland empire. More likely to find a better deal on a Truck than the beach cities. sunrise ford in Fontana has a ton on trucks.

I bought my '12 at Sunrise Ford in Hollywood. I bought it via a service though. I don't recommend them (Sunrise, tough sales pressure on the extended warranty, total hassle).

But I did get a good deal. I think I used CarsDirect.com??? They located the truck in Ontario and had sunrise pick it up. Did the whole deal through them

I talked to sunrise ford in fontana today and they wanted me to go down the dealership to discuss the deal. I don't like this style. I rather go after negotiating the deal which I have bought several cars in the past this way. I don't have a patient for sales games or setting for hours a table at some dealership.
