Default Oil help
I have a 2011 ecoboost. A guy was telling me yesterday that he runs 15w40 rotella in his ecoboost. Will it hurt one to run diesel blend?

I dunno about a new Ford, but I run Rotella 15w-40 in my gasoline Mercedes. It hasn't hurt it in 8 years. It has 135k miles on it so far.

Is there a reason you want to run that oil? What's the engine call for?

I've heard of people using regular car oil in two stroke motors and it still worked. I don't think I'd recommend it though.
