Default transmission

Need some help. I have an 89 f150 5.0l with a 302. I went to change my transmission fluid today, so I took out a bolt from the passenger side of the tranny which i thought was the fill plug, turns out I was wrong. It was a hex bolt about two inches in length and when I took it out a little fluid came out but the hole was smaller than my pinkie finger. when I went to put the bolt back in something internally of the tranny has fallen down or shifted in front of the hole so now the bolt can not grab any threads to screw back in. The truck was in first when I took the bolt out. in attempt to get the barrier inside the tranny to shift I ran it through all the gears and tried pushing the truck back and forth but it has not moved from behind the hole. does any one have any ideas?
