Default New Line-X Bed Liner

Got the Line-X done today and it looks awesome!!! I went with the "X-TRA" as they call it, the new kevlar and UV blocker plus color. The guy I talked to was very polite and explained everything to me; even took me around the shop and showed me the materials and the process, which had begun.

He said what they do with the X-TRA is take and "eyeball" match the color and add it to the base resin which is laid on first...they then mix the new kevlar + UV blocker resin with the precise color code of the truck provided by the manufacturer and lay it on top of the base resin and it chemically bonds giving you the exact color match of the truck with the extra durability of the new kevlar compound and the UV blocker. He explained how they mix the materials and spray it on and how it bonds. It was actually pretty cool to see and learn about all that stuff.

If anyone is in the Valdosta GA area and is considering a Line-X liner I strongly encourage you to call the folks at Line-X of Valdosta. They were extremely friendly and cordial. I was impressed with their customer realtions and their actual workmanship and product! Here are the pictures...

Is that a 2011 with the Race Red? Looks like PQ but wanted to ask. Very nice. How did they coat the lip at the top of the bulkhead? (over, up to the edge?)

Its a 2011 Candy Red. As for the bulkhead...I think you are talking about the top lip of the box up against the cab, right? If so, they tapped up what they didn't want sprayed. And they had a neat setup for the booth, it was like tarp or something 2 of them from the ceiling to the ground, each with holes cut out to back the truck into, one slipped thru between the box and cab to protect the cab and the other was around the cab like a dust barrier and to keep the fumes in the booth for venting. I should've took some pics to share but totally didn't even think about it. I was too enamored with the whole process and setup!

They really do know their stuff, done a jam up job! I am beyond satisfied with the outcome. I will make the rounds tomorrow showing it off
