I agree, the black is the only way to go with the FX appearance package. Its a perfect match for the rims. Just have to keep those tires shiny to match the rims and the paint. Good luck with the purchase. You're going to love that 5.0. Post some pics when you get it.

I just bought the Kodiak Brown XLT last week and really like the color. It looks black most of the time unless its directly in the sun and you are up close to it. There is a lot of metallic in it

I get compliments on my Kodiak Brown all the time, infact just yesterday a stranger in a parking lot with a black Lariat came over to me and said how much he liked the looks of my brown lariat.

Like any dark color, it takes some extra work to keep it looking good but it's well worth the extra effort in my opinion.

I've had this truck for 8 months now and have never seen another Kodiak brown in my area so I guess I kinda stand out in a crowd LOL

You said you keep your vehicles detailed regularly so I'm voting for black!

I love my blue flame two tone too. I also love the bright red (forget the name) on the FX4. Looks flashy in the best possible way and red looks clean even when its not.

Default dark colors themes

Green Gem metallic like Kodiak Brown looks black in lower light conditions. People say they love my black truck. The highly Metallic Green looks good in the direct sunlight too so I think you got some options if you want a dark color. Its one of the no cost colors too. I had a Silver one before that was nice but couldn't get the tan interior that I really wanted. I was looking for a "Nature" theme with the coloring. Black inside and out would be a more classy luxurious in-city theme. The Kodiak Brown is one of the color for the King Ranch and I think it gives the truck a "Rancher, Country" theme Nice thing about the F150, you have many choices to give you the theme you are looking for.
