Default Need Some opinions about a truck

This is my first post and I need some feed back. I am in no way an expert in these trucks. I am a newbie. It would be my first car purchase in 7 years.
I would like to get some opinions about this truck and what you guys think I should pay for it if I go that route. And is this normal wear for a truck? And for its age?

Blue book is about 18,800 on that truck given the damage and the low mileage. This truck will go past 200k if you take care of it and the rust doesn't slow you down.

I don't like the rust or the quarter panel damage. To me I would try to get it in trade in range less than 17 k but maybe that's unrealistic. Looks nice inside and it's hard to find these with low mileage. The rust may spread quickly especially in New Jersey.

What is your budget?

Does the damage bother you?

How long do you want to own it?

Looks great on the inside. The paint doesn't look that bad overall.
The Rust would be a deal breaker for me.
If it runs good & no engine noise, it is a FX4.
I would try to get it for less money. I know about about the F150 Bug. It can get to you.
In Colorado you don't see Rust like that. I know New Jersey weather & salt takes the Fun out of it. Here they depend on more sun than salt.
Some of the Rust looks deep.It may depend on how long you may keep it.
Good Luck either way.

Not so unrealistic the truck has been on their lot for 100 days. I think I can get it down to 20k or less. I would fix the damage if I bought it. I willing to pay 28k but due to life hitting me hard right now the less the better and I figured I would start at the bottom.

Patience is the virtue when car shopping. The F150 is in high demand used but there are so many out there that you need to keep looking. You will be rewarded for doing so. I say this from experience! I should have waited to buy my 2016 king ranch for a couple months. Would have saved a few grand.

Keep looking you can find something nice for 20k. Cargurus.com is a great site.
