Hmmm. I thought Pontiac was always GM's money maker. Any thoughts?

THe CEO gave an interview saying they were not a large % of the income generated for the company.

Made some great products over the years. A few classics.

Dammit. I like Pontiac. Oh well, there will still be parts available for them, and they already made all the cool cars they ever will. They don't need to rebadge the same vehicle and sell it as a Pontiac anymore.

Well parts will be avalible for a while, until they are short on money. Then they will just sell the rights off. You know how good some of the places make parts. 60% of the Pontiacs I see last 120,000 and they are dead after that.

Well I guess if you want a good deal on a car, now is the time to get it. I might go to the dealer and see what kind of deal I can get.

A sad day, truly. But on the bright side the wife's one owner 1977 Pontiac Firebird Formula will become more valuable.
