i have a 97 f150 4.6 ex-cab. today the door ajar light will not turn off and the inside lights are staying on also. i slamed all 3 doors and nothing. please help me out thanks in advance.

Well first off make sure you don't have the lights turned on at the light switch. Then check the door switches, replace if any are bad. If the door switchs are working ok, check the fuse block for corrosion, unplug and re-install the fuses and brakers if this does help then check the light switch it's self.

I had an 02 explorer that did the same thing, but my ABS light was coming on also. Spray some wd40 on the door latches. That solved my problem.. Good luck.

Truck will not start, no fuel coming to engine. No power at plug to the pump. Checked the relay and it is ok

I know my dad has an 01 and he had same problem and it was switch that the door triggers to turn the interior lights on and off
