Nanoskin Autoscrub? Anyone use?
I detail my truck (claybar/wax) about twice a year spring and fall. Using a clay bar on my truck sucks big time due to the shear surface area (157" WB with a cap). However I am pleased with the results and feel using a clay bar is a real benefit to the process.
I saw a video for Nanoskin Autoscrub pads the other day and was intrigued. Looks like they would cut my clay bar time in half or more. Hard to tell if they work as well as clay, so I am looking for some guidance here. Id hate to pay for the pad(s) and they not work as well as clay.
I was thinking of picking up a cheap Harbor Freight DA polisher to use for this.
Thoughts and opinions?
Here is the video I saw by the way.

Looks interesting. I have some scratches from some trails I have been on and have been searching around for some solutions. I came across shiny monkey the other day and think I am going that route to give it a try.
I hear about Collinite and don't mind spending the money I just wanted to see what else was out there that I had better access to versus online ordering.
If you decide to go this route let us know how it goes. I am going to set up a video of the different solutions and compare before after for Shiny Monkey.

I used it on my wife's 2009 Camry SE about a month ago, I gave it a full detail. she parks outside at work and our apartment. she's had her car since 2008 and I've never waxed or given it a full detail. I came across nanoskin products a few months ago and decided to buy one on eBay since it was a few dollars cheaper elsewhere (free shipping).
I've clayed my previous car quite a few times with a traditional clay bar. I used the nanoskin autoscrub towel on her car with Mothers California Gold showtime detailer as the lube (it was on sale at my local auto shop). the finished product was awesome! I don't think I can go back to a regular clay bar. it was so quick and easy to use. the simple key is to keep it wet, as you would do with a clay bar to avoid marring on the clear coat. I saw none of it, and it was on a dark color car. I followed up with Meguiars ultimate compound and finished with Collinite 845 wax, beautiful!
I really recommend it, it cuts time of claying in half. maybe more? DO IT!

And the beauty is if you drop it you can rinse it off instead of like clay where you'd have to toss it.
I follow up with CG's P40... http://www.chemicalguys.com/Chemical...gap_105_16.htm
...then Wolfgang sealer.
