Register it on the Ford website (you'll need the VIN).
Once registered any recall information will be accessible through a link on the website. You can also check the warranty coverage, they might (should) reimburse you for the tow. The repairs won't cost you anything but time and the inconvenience.

Also research your states "lemon law" just in case, for whatever reason, this becomes an ongoing issue. Not to say it will but it doesn't hurt to be informed and prepared.

Good luck!

Happened to me shortly after I got it. I pulled the negative battery terminal and reconnected it, hasn't happened since.

Cars are no different than computers a lot of the time. A simple reset often fixes these gremlins.

It still turned the dash, headlights, radio, etc. On fine. But wouldn't even turn the engine over once. So it's definitely a possibility. With all the electronics on these new vehicles, it could be just about anything. Let the dealer worry about it now.
That's the thing with lead/acid batteries, most of the time but not always, just give up the ghost for no apparent reason at any given time with little or no warning, have had a few even explode when trying to start a vehicle.

If that happens, I'm going to be missing that clutch pedal and 5spd tranny....nevermind, I already miss those.

About 80% of the 2.7 trucks left the factory without having the won't start after 600 mile's modual disabled or reset to 1200 miles. Ford did this to discourage people from buying because they are having trouble with production keeping up with sales.

I had a 8 month old BMW X3 that would fail to start; it was random. If I would let it sit for 20 minutes, an hour, or sometimes 30 seconds, it would start. Went into the BMW dealer 3 times for the issue. They replaced various sensors and pressure switches, but it still continued. They even contacted some super tech in Bavaria, but to no avail. Got a loaner BMW each time.

On the 4th dealer tow to the shop, the sales manager called me and stated they were eating the contract (they bought it back), and even refunded my down payment. It saved me the hassle of filing a lemon law, and made the dealership look real nice, which they were.

Sometimes the bull wins.

update, apparently I had a bad harness or something dating from the manufacture, for this they said they had to disassemble my engine to get to it. Now we're waiting on a manifold gasket. lol.

Its been in the shop since the 3rd of Dec, still haven't received it. Never thought I'd have so many issues with a brand new vehicle. Bought it on Nov 19. in the month of ownership I've had it in my possession for a little over a week. Been told it'll be finished tomorrow everyday now for the last 3 weeks. This will defiantly be the last Ford product I buy.
