Quiet is right. I don't know if it's just my trim level, or the soundscreen window, but this is THE quietest ride I have ever been in. I barely hear any road noise on the highway and in the city, it's dead quiet in the cab.

Just wait until you wear those noisy pirelli's out. It will be SILENT in there. I don't care what anyone says, that soundscreen windshield makes a big difference! Wish mine had it.

I'm sure there is more to it than that but Ford boasts that part in it's advertising.

My fx2 5.0 is a couple of months old now. Really love this thing. I do have a minor complaint. When driving to work early in the morning in the dark, when I'm about the only one on the road, I see the reflection of the headlight ****(and associated lights) reflected in the middle of my passenger side mirror. Stupid I know, but I see it every morning.

Little bit of a thread hijack, but quick question for those of you who we're talking about the soundscreen windshield. I know it's standard on Platinum and up, but how do you get it on an XLT? It isn't a factory option is it?

Came on mine from factory, not in the option or standard equipment list on my window sticker. Also on my wife's base model Escape.
