Default Muffler brand and sound?

Originally I was looking to put in an exhaust system for my 2013 5.0 XLT but as I am on a budget I decided on going with an aggressive muffler. I am looking for a deep throaty sound at idle and acceleration. I have been looking at different brands (magnaflow, flowmaster, etc.) but am thoroughly confused. Any suggestions?

I put Magnaflow on my 2013 5.0 and love it, just a tad louder than stock at idle and sounds like NASCAR when you open it up. No drone either.

Did you keep your resonator ? Everything else on your exhaust is stock?

Ah sweet another opportunity to post a sound clip of my exhaust. I went with the Borla "Atak" catback system with my 2013 F150. Expect to pay a few extra dollars for Borla products with the highest grade stainless steel, craftsmanship, R&D and warranty on the market. They also have 2 less aggressive catback systems if you want a different note/growl. You've got plenty options available so do your homework.

Here's my system with a few exterior and interior sound clips.

They sell a cat back kit, it's not really cat back, it bolts directly to the resonator and goes back all the way to the dual pipes coming out back.

If you want something more aggressive go with the Borla Azuri posted, I didn't want something that loud.

Haha funny you should say. When I was feeling out the water about my exhaust purchase my wife actually told me to go with the atak lol. I was considering the s-type one less aggressive model she said nah if you want slightly louder then stock then why bother I was floored. My wife is great as you can see by mod list she says it's my truck and if it makes me happy go for it.

I return you back to the exhaust thread.

Rnlcomp I will say it is louder then average but it's not obnoxiously loud and my video is actually quite deceiving the camera is mounted literally inches away from the exhaust pipe exit I'd you don't romp it still fairly respectable but i won't lie it is very head turning if you want it to be. I respect that people have different tolerance levels of exhausts.
