Default Most Cosmetically Aggressive Tire designed for the street

I will be very blunt. I spend 100% of the time driving on the street and I want a bad-*** looking truck. I am interested in the most aggressive looking tire that is really designed to last long and have minimal road noise. I understand its not possible to have the best of all worlds, but with a mindset on longevity and comfort, what are some of the most aggressive looking tires I should be looking at considering I will not be off-road?

BTW, I used to have the A/T BFG and I am leaning towards something more aggressive looking than that tire with the understanding it will come at the cost of longevity and road noise.

For aggressive looks, go with an MTR. Youll lose tread life and gain road noise but youll get the looks your wanting. If you want really aggressive looks check out just about anything by Interco. http://www.intercotire.com/tires.php

Give those shopping mall curbs hell!

^^^Those wont make it to the mall. OP, if you want some aggressive looking tires that have good on road traits, look into Nitto Trail Grapplers or Toyo Open Country M/T.

what you want are either Goodyear Duratracs, Toyo Open Country R/T, or the Cooper ST-MAXX ... they are all hybrid MT/AT tires. MT's of any sort are just that - super-aggressive mud terrain tires ... and most AT's, even the most aggressive ones are still timid looking compared to MT's.

you may just need to go with an MT for the look you really want, but at least take a look at the tires I mention above before you do that.

Wrangler Duratrac's would be my vote. I run them in the winter as they are really good on Ice and snow. They are one of the most aggressive AT tires out there. Minimum Road Noise but only last me 30,000 to 40,000km

Cooper Discoverer AT3 gets my vote for what you want, I have pretty much the same thing as you as far as driving habits are concerned, pavement pounder, concrete queen what ever you like but I might get off road and those tires I mentioned are just the trick. No noise and from what others with them say, they are a 50,000 mile tire easy.

Your rim if original will also dictate what tire you can have, oem are usually too skinny for a real aggressive tire.

Another vote for Duratracks. That have great aggressive looks with good road manners and limited noise.
Second choice would be Toyo Open Country MT, they are pricy but you get what you pay for. A superb tire choice but a little more noisy than the Duratrac and a little less road life.

I like my Cooper Zeon LTZ's on my excursion..they look great and work even better.

Now i run dedicated snow tires in the winter so i'm not sure how they do in those conditions.
