Question More leg room on a 2007 ext cab

When we bought our 2007 ext cab we thought it would have enough leg room for my 6'8' hubs, now we're faced with moving the seat back or putting a F250 seat in there instead has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it short of getting a new truck( yeah like that's gonna happen) When I've called various dealers to ask about this they blow me off and say it can't happen. And before you ask how did this happen, when we bought the truck we were driving my expedition on a daily basis and hadn't spent that much time in the truck until the time limit had expired for us to return it.
I know, I know not our brightest move but to our defense .... we never thought Ford would make such a small cab, this cab is actually smaller than a Nissan
Any help would truly be appreciated, Thank You.

why would you need a new seat? just buy new mounting brackets. and mount the seat farther back.

i guess when yall went and bought the truck he didnt sit in it? you would think with his height being a issue you would sit in some trucks before you bought it.

To answer question #1 , he did sit in it , but as we had had to order it from Kansas, we're here in the west, he was so damn excited to have a 'truck' again, he didn't even dream of the darn thing being too small, plus you all know how these car dealers give you a 30 second test drive. Also, this truck Does Not have Brackets,it has threaded bosses that are in the floor that you have to screw into and in moving it back you have to go through the entire floorboard to mount it right and in doing that you have to take care where the wires and other miscellany occupy the space.
To answer question #2, we had thought this truck came with power pedals, but it didn't and when I called around to various dealers they acted like I was asking for an act of congress and 'well little lady you can't be putting power pedals on a truck that doesn't already have them' To which hubs says hogwash, and now we are hoping someone out in F150 forum land can tell us where to buy them. I mean they can't be that hard to put on right?!!
Oh and to answer the unasked question why this happened, my hubs had sat in LOTS & LOTS OF TRUCKS, AND THE F150 had been the largest cab, we had no idea that we should have bought the double cab until we found out that we had a problem. Now my question, does anyone have any answers that can answer my original question of this post or the question of being able to put in power pedals in a truck that didn't start out w/them and where to buy them?? PLEASE??

not this truck but the truck before 10 tundra double cab. Compated to the 10 f150 double cab with suside doors. the ext cab on the f150 left a lot to be desired. For rear seat leg room. At the time that was one of the major reasons why we got the tundra. I upgades to a screw for this truck. No more moving the seat foward and back when tall people get in the back.
