Default Is it me? Or is everyone on the GM truck bandwagon?

I don't know if its a local thing around here, but everywhere I look I see new 14/15 Silverados and Sierras? AND I MEAN EVERYWHERE, by the time I hit 4 blocks from my house on my way to work (everyday) Ive already seen at least 3 of these square wheel welled bastards. Silverados (new and old) are everywhere around me, its funny as hell, even my wife is pointing it out. I feel like I'm driving a one off truck.

Anyways, not really a point to this thread I guess. Just curious if Im the only one seeing this.

I think there's just as many as there usually would be, it's just a new design so it stands out to you probably. There's a gazillion 14 f150s pretty much everywhere as well

Yea I figured. Maybe Im just f150 blind. Have a buddy at work who just bought a 14 Sierra with the 5.3 with cylinder deactivation, he's already complaining about those issues in everyday driving. He also says its a turd from a stop, Im guessing the 3.08 rear doesn't help.

This coming from the same guy who 3 days ago was trying to compare my mpg to his mpg saying he'll get better than me in the city/overall. I just laughed it off and turned on my A/C seats.

Must be your area. I went to a party last Saturday, not one GM truck, but 5 F150's, all 09-13 and a 03 and all Supercrews. That is in KC Missouri, where they build a good deal of F150's.

Not by me. Have 11 friends/family members that bought new trucks in the last year. 10 Bought F-150s, 2 Bought F-250s and only one person I know has bought a new GM and his excuse was that the Fords are to expensive.

I seem to notice more Fords than any other single make, cars included.

At work a couple weeks ago. That's not even all of the '09+ and there are many pre-09s. Fords out number GMs by 3 to 1 or more.

The GM couldn't even tighten the strap!!!

To the OP, it's just you. GM trucks are not popular here. Tons of Fords, and plenty of Ram trucks here in IL.

Lots of GM trucks in Iowa too. Generally, and especially for those that have been modded, folks w/GM trucks drive aggressively and are kind of jerky.
