March of Dimes - March for Babies
I'm set to walk in the March of Dimes - March for Babies next month and I was hoping to get some help from the my fellow board members in helping me meet my personal fundraising goal. I have set a personal goal of $250 while we have a team goal of $2k. Any amount is nice, but the more you give the better. This is for a great cause and will help out alot of people.
Hopefully my posting this doesn't break any rules, but mods if it does please feel free to shut me down. If not then please help me out. I have a paypal account that you can send any donations to. rtyo@hawaii.rr.com also please go to my website where you can actually select your donation amount. Thanks to all for looking.

I would be honored to help you reach your goal. My best friend was born with short arms (phocomelia syndrome). He is very independent and even drives a car. I believe this to be an extremely worthy cause to support.

I love paypal! I have a cousin that was born very premature (read palm size) and she also had MS. I have seen her go through some things tht I could never even imagine, and she still is even going to china for the special olympics!
I hope my donation helped out a bit.
I was just thinking the other day that it would be really cool if we could do some sort of group donation from f150 forum to some sort of charity.

Ty I think you are on to something there. I have a cousin who swims and plays bastetball in the special olympics. He even went to state for the swimming this past year. I will be dropping by on paypal to make a donation for the March of Dimes of course.

An early thanks to those who have donated so far, I truly appreciate it. I don't have any personal stories (I did have a brother that was stillborn) to share, I just believe this to be a very worthwhile cause to support. I have never participated in one of these before I just felt compelled to get involved and try to make a little bit of a difference. May sound corny, but I guess there comes a point when you figure why is it always someone else out there doing it, why not me?
Thanks again and for your support!

Hey, Could you possibly edit your post to mention the employer match possibility?
I gave five less than what my company matches not knowing there was gonna be a match option...
So I get the pure joy of giving five+ more!!! Tis such a worthy cause!

No Pain, No Pain!
I would like to help, but I don't have paypal. And I don't want paypal either, had some trouble with them as an eBay seller and got rid of them.
