I'm looking to upgrade my muffler to something alot louder and deeper, and that I can just swap out with my current one, I currently have the SI/SO Magnaflow XL that a bought a couple years ago and it's only a little louder than stock.
A couple of my friends told me if I want a SI/SO muffler that will give my truck a nice deep and loud rumble when accelerating, it would be the Flowmaster Super 44.
So just looking for some advice on which SI/SO muffler I should get for what I want and btw my engine is the 4.6l. Also I'm looking for something not too expensive.

You need a smaller case muffler if you want it louder, a smaller magnaflow, borla xr-1, etc. Go to youtube and find some video clips and listen to them. Me personally I don't care for flowmaster at all, alot better options out there than that.

I agree with SJP. I've got 44's SI/DO and I'm not very impressed with them. It's better than stock, but not near where I would like it. Tons of sound clips on YouTube to give you an kdea

deepest muffler I have heard is the spintech prostreet model. I "think" its also called the 9000 model, but dont quote me on that part.

My brother has a Mustang and when he bought it, the dude took out the catalytic converters. Definately loud.....

check out the magnaflow-magnapack. i got it and my raptor and i like it alot. lots of people tell me they love the way it sounds also.

i was at a raptor meet and we were all putting the raptors on the dyno and my truck was unofficially voted as the best sounding truck without headers

I would second the Magnapack. Dynomax Bullets are quite loud/deep as well.

I was also wondering a similar question but I'm wanting more of the Deep Low Rumble rather then the Loud Crackling.
