Yes your deal seems very fair. A platinum like that has every option except the higher end engine choices (the 5.0 is the base). So sticker was well into the $50k range and maybe even upper 50s.

Saw the window sticker it says 51k. I was between a 5.0 and ecoboost. This is also a convenience as it is at a local Pittsburgh dealer

I know what you mean but this truck here for sale shows promise of longevity in the new 5.0

well I think in the end, if you are ok with the mileage than the price is fair and you should go for it. I drive about 50 miles each day so for me Im shopping for a truck with less than 50k miles. But the truck you are looking to buy is a very nice truck with all the options and it sure is nice.

It does look well taken care of by the previous owner. Have the service dept. check the service records of the truck. If you're happy, I say get her. As I said, it would be at least 3K higher here in North Carolina.

BTW, luv my Platinum, and the 5.0.

Here's the Carfax link. If I don't hear anything negative I'm going to pick it up tomorrow after work. And I would like to send a round of thanks to everyone who has stepped up and took the time to give an opinion on this. I know a lot of you have paid more for your truck and have less miles and may say it's only 20k what's the big deal. To me it's a super big deal and the most I've ever spent on a vehicle and I thank those who have chimed in. In my mind i can't justify another 12k plus for the same truck with 50k less mileage. Just trying to explain myself so that you know what is going through my mind.

You could look into an extended warranty.
