I bought a locked Edge for $100.00. The folks at Edge unlocked it for me for free.

I'm looking to purchase a cold air intake. For those of you here that have purchased one, give me your opinion of what you purchased. Do you like it, did you notice any power gains, what ever you would like to add. Also if you have an opinion of a certain brand and what you think is one of the best on the market.
On my 2014 5.0, I installed an Airaid CAI. However, I did so in conjunction with installing a Borla ATAK exhaust and installing 5-Star's 91 octane performance tune.
I selected Airaid because I have used their products in the past.
By only installing a CAI, I doubt you would be able to tell much difference in power. Our trucks are really heavy and we want power in the low to mid-range RPMs. If you do gain some horsepower, I doubt you could feel it, but you might, perhaps depending on how you drive your truck.
I do believe that a CAI is a good starting point for future basic upgrades such as an exhaust and a custom tune.
Just my 2-cents on the subject.
I think it does dress up the engine compartment.
Good luck with your selection.

Have an Airaid on my 5.0. Can't tell any gain in anything but looks and sound. Was it worth the bucks? To me it was.
I also have a Borla exhaust, and SCTX4 tuner with 5* tunes. I plan on getting together with 5*, and see if they can "maybe" get a little out of it.
Photo is before I got the sock installed.

If you bought the CAI and installed it after we tuned it and did not update the tune you want to. The truck will run lean and you could possibly lose power. Let us know so we can update it if we need to. It is $85 dollars to update email tunes unless you buy the parts from us then it is free.
Would you guys happen to have Saturday hours?
Just checked, yes, my CAI, and Borla both came from Stage3.
