USAA also sells extended vehicle warranties. I have life insurance through them so I got a quote. If any third party warranty is reputable, it'll be USAAs. They aren't some fly-by-night warranty shark.

The point Rnlcomp made still stands. There's a difference between addressing a flat tire versus major vehicle repair. The former costs practically nothing for them.

I am a longtime USAA customer myself, but if you look around...it sounds like they have a growing amount of unhappy customers out there when it comes to claims. Good luck.

This is through warranty solutions and the parent company is wells fargo who holds the note on the truck. It's 6 years old with 81K mike. I have had it about a month and put about 1K miles on it. I have 60 days to cancel so I think I am gonna give it 2 more weeks then cancel. There are just so many small got yous in the contract. I agree there would bring me some gas but if they had to pay for say a new transfer case??!!
Thanks for all the feed back

I never buy 3rd party warranties. Never. The only extended warranty I would consider is from the vehicle manufacturer.

I believe I would have read the warranty thoroughly before buying it. That which I didn't understand I would have ask the seller to explain.

You're basically talking about replacing the motor before exceeding 3000 bucks anyway right? I'm fairly certain that even a transmission rebuild isn't going to cost that.
I never buy extended warranties.
