Default What's this plug for?

Hey, so i bought my first Raptor and it's got this plug on the bumper. Can anyone tell me what is it for?

Block heater and a battery blanket if you have one.

Thanks, guys! I read some about the block heater just now. Doesn't look like I'll be using it in Florida, but good to know still

That is there in case you run out of gas. Just plug in a long extension cord and you are good to go.

Yeah - most people don't know the Raptor is a hybrid.

Many years ago I moved from North Dakota back to Texas. We had a block heater in our car and we got all those same questions from friends and family. The extension cord answer was the funnest one to pull. So have a good time and amaze your friends with the stories you can concoct.

Once charged it gives you an extra 300 miles range on battery alone.

Or if you get stuck it can double as a tow rope
