No, cold air intakes are virtually worthless unless you have a tune and exhaust also

you will only see minimal if any improvement unless you have a tune. I did the gotts mod on mine which is a free CAI and better than most CAIs, not all CAIs are created equal. I didnt notice much difference but it now allows the truck access to more air, however unless you do exhaust and tuner it really cant utilize more anyway.

Also, if have a good headers plus the exhaust, then you can feel the difference from installing a CAI.

What does the air intake have to do with the height?

Maybe I'm dumber than the average bear, but I don't see it.

Hi, I saw this thread about leveling. So instead of starting a new thread to ask a leveling question, I though maybe I can ask my question here. My apologies if this is not the right thing to do, just let me know.
My question is I see a lot on this forum about leveling trucks. What is it? What is the purpose of it and why so many are doing it? Is it something that you normally would do for better fuel mileage or what? I just got a new 2012 back in November, so ride height is good for me. Please explain. (I'm a tech head and not mechanical). Thanks.

Installing a 2 or 2.5 inch spacer on top of you stock coil springs and strut...this with bring the front end of your truck level with the rear end of you truck, this will also allow you to run bigger tires.. this is not done to achieve better MPG...it actually does the reverse...do to the fact many people who level their trucks install larger tires. If the ride height is good for you, leave it the way it is...
