Yeah, I did the fender and tailgate emblems last fall and they look great. A little easier to do those than the ovals. Just the seams on the inner ring that gave me an issue.
I don't mind re-doing it since I actually ripped it immediately afterwards lol. I was cleaning up the excess and then just wiped around it with detailing spray and a mf cloth... accidentally snagged the bottom of the oval. Couldn't see it unless you're looking up from underneath, but it bothered me still just knowing it was there lol.

I know this is an older thread, but I just recently got my F150 and started using plastidip on it.
So far I have done the exhaust tip black, the emblems on the front sides black and the mirror caps and reflectors white to match the truck. I have a 2010 Platinum so it is the tri-coat white metallic paint. I used white plastidip as the base and the white pearlizer over it (4 coats of white, 2 coats of pearlizer) and it came out surprisingly close to the factory paint. I love how it looks and how easy and inexpensive it is! I eventually want to do the grill, wheels and oval emblems. I attached a pic of the truck when I got it, the pieces I already did and then last are 2 photoshopped pics of what my eventual goal is (my camera is messed up so not all pics are super clear, sorry!).
The only thing is my emblems don't have the separation between the letters and the blue background so I don't know if it will peel off correctly. Has anyone done their oval logo on a 2010 before there was the clear separation between the letters and the background and been able to peel it cleanly?
