Has anyone plastic dipped the exhaust tip and if so, how did it hold up with the Temperature?

I did mine, it's held up a lot better than I thought. After I installed my system my tips were way out of line... My driver side tip was pissing me off a lot and kept wanting to get closer to the bumper. On my first ride it hit the bumper and ripped the dip since it warmed up and stuck. Patched it and it's fine now. Tip no longer gets that close so I haven't ran into any issues like that.

Other than that I've touched it up once but that was probably my fault, it was my first time plastidipping so I think I was a little uneven around the edges. It shrunk when it dried so I had little rips around the edges of the tips. I sprayed over em again and sprayed a little more on the inside this time, and all is well. The smell is pretty strong for a while, but it eventually fades. Sorry environment.

FYI I did 6 coats on each tip.

Thanks for the info, that's exactly what I was looking for. This will be my first time using plastic dip and wanted to start with a small project. Depending on the results, I may move forward with a 3" strip across the bottom of the rocker panel.

(Yeah, I see the bug dings too... damn Oklahoma bugs!)
That's actually pretty cool and unique.

No problem. Your exhaust tip really shouldn't be that hot after driving, but that being said, dip it when you know you're not going to be driving to let it settle and cure and stuff. I put my new system on like a week and a half after dipping, not on purpose, but that's just when I found the time. I think letting it sit around and cure helped. If I had to guess I'd say a day or maybe even 2 days to let it cure would probably be good enough just to be safe. I think I forgot to mention I waited 30 mins between coats and it worked well - and this was on 2 chrome Borla tips, not sure if it'll be any different if you're spraying the stock pipe or whatever.

Default PD emblems and badges

I cut the XL tags off my badges and PD'd them. Also I made my grille emblem from a tailgate badge. The tailgate emblem is PD'd with a white and black overlay.

Does the Anthracite grey color match Ford wheel lip moldings of an FX4? I'm just wondering what to do with my black PTM bumpers as I hate the chips in the front bumper from winter driving. Thinking if the Anthracite gray matches the molding I could spray the bumpers like those of the Raptors to match. What do you guys think?
