my beauty. its different now than the photo posted but i did nightshade my tails an third brake light.. an picked up 4 cans of PD black.. going to do the rockers n bumpers an grillle surround

it now has smoked headlights(aftermarket). an a 2.5" lift front. 3" rear that replaced the standard 4wd 2" block

Plastidipped my wheels tonight,kinda curious to how durable this stuff is. Used 3 to 4 cans

It is very durable as long as you use 5+ coats.

You are overthinking it. Plastidip is very user friendly. Wasn't difficult at all.

Front Ford emblem and mirror caps. Glossifier on the emblem but not on the caps.

thats almost identical to what im trying to do with my emblem. Ill post here for all to see instead of making my own post, see what responses i get. My front/rear emblem are peeling and fading off like most do. I have (and enjoy) the black on chrome look . paint is black, black rims, black grill, chrome bumper, boards, wheel accents , door handles. Im continuing with the emblem. I want the emblem blacked out, but the FORD letter and the silver halo around the letter chromed.

any advice on how to do this? So far im thinking just spray the whole thing with 4 or 5 layers, then take a razor blade or scalpel and cut along the raised parts of the letter and ring. Would require a steady hand.
