It is. I was in HC-7. Flew Sea Sprites (A/B single engine) off KING DLG10 & HALSEY DLG16 in 1967 & 68. (Not sure this photo, but it's not KING nor HALSEY).
To those not familiar with the H2 Sea Sprite, just picture your 3.5 EB with only one turbo.

Wasn't DLG 16 the Leahy, and the Halsey DLG 23? Those were nice looking ships in their day.
Ya know, we're getting olde!!!!!
My toy, also my daily driver.

I was on the Josephus Daniels, DLG 27, '70-'74. DLG 26 class, sister ship to the Belknap. We also had a Sea Sprite. I went back and looked again, that flight deck is a bit different than ours was. IIRC, ours was straight across the rear in front of the gunmount.

On both King & Halsey our "runway/parking area" was on main deck aft of the missile launcher.

My now sold 2007 Ninja 250. It was my first bike and had a blast on it as a college student. Paid $1500 cash for it, maybe put in $200-$300 with different parts and mods before selling it for $1300 5 years later.
Here it is with the college student touring setup! I rode that little bike all over Texas
That bike taught me a lot mechanically, and I gained a lot of confidence in doing mechanical things myself. For that $1500 spent on it, I gained priceless experience and information.
And now my new toy which I bought brand new a year ago
2014 Ninja 650
and a pic of it with my truck when the truck was completely stock

here's my junk:
The FJ1200 is an 89 and pretty much a ratter. I picked it up for 800 bucks and plan a full on resto to factory specs. I wanted an 84 back in Highschool and never got one. It's a bucket list item for me.
The Venture has since had a full Vmax conversion. It's an 83. I bought a wrecked 86 royale and transferred over the full wiring harness, minus the heavy radio/cb stuff. Basically, the cruise control and air suspension. Race tech gold valves in the forks, R1 brakes, 2002 Royal star venture transmission, Vmax rear differential, programmable ignition and vboost controllers and the 86 rear bags. Lots more, but to much to list out. Closest thing I have to a current pic:
If you can get the clutch to hold under the power, you can get way too much sky under the front tire in the first 3 gears with nothing but throttle. It's scary fast for such a big old bike. When you whack the throttle, you better be upright and pointed straight at where you want to go or it's gonna nite you in the butt....HARD!
I'm currently working on 17" radial capable rims for it. The front is an easy swap to an r6 unit, but the rear I'm machining the center out of an OEM venture rim and a ZX7 rim. It's on hold for a little while, have some logistics to work out with joining the two cast pieces together.
The 85 750 interceptor I'll just post up a pic and those that know what they are looking at can figure it out:
Then there's my 83 mustang. Old pic:
I've owned it since new. Started as a stripper GL v6 auto . It's gone through lots of changes over the years. Right now it's in major tear down for some rust repairs and another round of changes, so I'll just post a couple pics and then the list of alterations going on:
This stuff is either already in or waiting on the shelves:
83 nose spliced with 87 Gt lowers
87 Gt lower bodywork
89 302 roller engine
Eldelbrock performer RPM air gap intake
Holley 750 vac secondaries
BBK longtubes
BBK h pipe
Magnaflow stainless cat back
K member slide 3/4" forward
Engine 1" setback
94 SN95 steering knuckles
5 lugs conversion
PBR front calipers
2004 Cobra lower control arms
Mach1 springs
Bilstein front Struts
Camber/caster plates
87 GT front sway bar
SN95 Steering rack
T5 trans, 11" clutch
Full length subframe connectors
Maximum Motorsports Torque arm
MM Panhard bar
MM lower adjustable control arms
8.8 axle, 31 spline 3.73 trac lock differential, 31 spline 5 lug axles
Bilstein rear shocks
SN95 rear disc brakes
T-Top conversion
83 "reverse" hood scoop
Bullit rims
Bunch of other stuff, but mostly small bits.
Should be fun when it's done.....

Nice Mustang. Always liked that body style. My Dad had a '86 GT. She was grey with the louvered hood with black stripe, blacked out headlight bezels and rear spoiler. She had the red interior, a 5-speed and had power everything. Except for a little intake work she was all stock. If I remember correctly, he said that '86 was the last year for the quad headlights, and the first for EFI. We would take her out on weekends to flea markets and yard sales, went to Carlilse with her too. After Dad died I had to sell it. Miss him and that car.....

Here's my other baby, my 2006 Mustang. For a 11 year old car it's in great shape. People always come up to me while I'm washing it or getting gas and ask what year it is are are surprised to hear that it's an '06. What a good feeling lol

Beautiful Mustang!!! I had a white 07' GT/CS, man I miss that car. Hopefully one day I can afford a Mustang and a nice truck at the same time. But for now, I'm in the truck.
