Has anyone tried the new graphene coating from Adams
I am curious if anyone has tried this? It is supposed to be a hybrid ceramic coating with 30% graphene in it, and supposedly lasts a long time. Of course, separating the hype from reality is difficult now and there aren't too many long term reviews on this. The company is hyping this like it is the greatest coating ever and some of the detailing forums say that it is not better than CQuartz ceramic. It is less expensive than the first-gen. graphene coatings, and is also supposedly easy to apply. I just ordered the kit, and I am going to try it on my tailgate first to see for myself.

I detail professionally on the side. I'm not a fan of Adam's products what so ever. I wanted to like their products, bought a bunch of their stuff, and ended up giving it away. I personally think its hype. The only people I've seen rave about this graphene coating also happen to be Adam's fanboys.

I canceled the Adams order and went with Optimum-Gloss Coat instead. The more that I read about the Adams graphene product and the way they are pushing it, the more skeptical I became. Graphene might prove out to be the next great thing, but they are pushing it like the old Slick 50 engine additive. I am awaiting the next major breakthrough like self-healing coatings. I went to the detailing forums and the Optimum Glodd_Coat is supposed to be one of the easiest to apply and self-leveling and also last a couple of years with maintenance.

Will do, I am actually in AZ and the temps are about 70 here on average. I am probably going to do this on Thanksgiving weekend when I can dedicate some time to it and then let it sit inside 3-4 days to start curing.

Great, thanks. It looks like spring for me to do this. I've got 3 coats of Meguiars Hybrid on it right now, and looks like Opti recommends starting with bare paint. How much did you order, the 10 or 20cc?
