Might check the radiator area. Mine has a leak where the reservoir connects to the core. Only does it when the weather is below 40degF. Not much of a drip, just enough to be annoying.

Freezeplugs, good thought. Besides the standard procedere of retorqueing all clamps (if that style) here is something to consider. Have witnessed this over the years. When ever there is a leak (expernal) and is not visible to the eye when hot and under pressure but ocurres while sitting over night, check the water pump. Get under the truck and look at the lower hose. If there is a discolloring, or a stain, follow this track to it point of origin. Most likely it will run up to where it connects to the pump. Further investigation might show it goes right to the weep hole in the punp. It seems when this seal is warm and under pressure as it cools and pressures normalize, it will seep. Forgot one last thing, welcome to the site.

There's at least one freeze plug back there, don't mistake the cam plug for a freeze plug. The tranny will have to be pulled to fix it.
