I had that problem on my truck... it seems when I closing the tailgate the key, which was hanging off one of the belt loops on my pants, got caught on something and actually bent a little bit. Key would go in, but couldn't turn it. Bent it back flat and worked just fine.

Help! Trying to leave for the day and my ignition key won't turn. I've used WD40, turned the wheel all the way to the left, made sure it's in park all the way, rocked the truck to make sure it's in park all the way, pulled on the gear shift, tapped on the ignition with and without the key in the ignition. Nothing works!!! Does anyone have any ideas???
