Probably the salt, very corrosive.

I wouldn't.

Use a microfiber applicator pad, apply a 2-3 dots of product by touching the pad to the bottle and turning it upside down, then remove the excess.

This wax goes on thin thin thin. I've found that by hand with a microfiber applicator is actually the best way to apply it. I tried multiple times with my porter cable using lake country pads and was never satisfied with the application.

For those that want to know where to pick a bottle up, check out autogeek.net.

Nanoskin Autoscrubbed and Collinite 845'd the truck this weekend. Applied with my DA and 5" Lake Country Red CCS Red Finishing pad. Put it on really thin and it comes right off with little effort. Shine and water beading is amazing. Last put it on in August and it was still beading after the long winter.

Since it's not a generation specific thread why not. And in one of these photos my dad's truck is about 30-40 feet away.. And you can still see it. Both were washed. Clayed, waxed once then waxed with collinite.

It doesn't, even pollen blows off just driving. It's like putting liquid glass on your vehicle. I bought a California duster and maybe used it 3 times in 2 years.

I'm thinking about trying this stuff, the shine looks amazing. Do any local parts houses stock this?

Yeah, that's odd. I live in Calgary, Alberta, and just went through the first winter with the truck. I applied Col845 last October and it has endured just fine.

So someone mentioned that they don't suggest the 845 for black vehicles. I cannot find on their website what is recommended for black. I want to buy some, but want to get the right combination for my black truck.

I saw that they suggest 915. I had no problems with the 845 on mine.
