Sort of, I had previously done the hood with mequiars. There may be a collinite polish but I didn't use it. I also used two coats of collinite like recommended.

I don't use anything but Liquid Glass. What's great about Liquid Glass is that you can use it on chrome, glass or painted surfaces and it doesn't leave the powdery White residue anywhere.

freddyttt, don't we wish that Ford would apply paint as well as Harley? It's a beauty.

I just ordered a bottle of Collinite 845.

I want to get the steps for proper application.

I have used Meguiars NXT, and it only lasts about 3-4 months at best.

1) I will wash the entire truck with DAWN dish soap to strip it down.

2) Clay bar entire truck

3) ? Wax? Suggested wax?

4) Apply "2" coats of 845, with a micro-fiber pad. {HOW much 845 do you put on the pad?

I am looking forward to detailing my truck with the 845, and just want to do it correctly.

My truck is a 2002 K/R in Charcoal Blue
THEN do my wifes 2010 Lariat, that is White Platinum

Thanx

No wax! The 845 is a "synthetic" wax.

Wash
Clay
Polish (if required or desired)
845

You can then put a coat of natural carnauba wax over the 845 for a deeper/warmer final appearance. Keep in mind you'll still have to replace the wax every 6-8 weeks as usual. Many just leave the 845 as the final - as you see above - with great results.

Autogeek recommendation is good coat of wax with 845 over that
