Tremor Grill
I wanna change the grille out on my 2013 FX4 to the 2014 Tremor or Appearance Package grille. I'm having a hard time locating the correct part # for this grille. I've searched Ebay and Autotrader and got several VIN #'s from 2014 Tremors and Appearance Package trucks, went to different Ford parts stores online and searched but all the VIN #'s I look for show me all grilles listed for all F150's. With that being said, does anyone here know the correct part # for this grille? I'd like to order one. Thanks in anvance for any help!!

Thanks for the part #. Yea, I looked at that thread but didn't really like the idea of plastidip on the grille of a $50k truck. I thought i'd do it the correct way and buy the grille. I've used plastidip before on other projects.....all the people that post pics on forums saying "it looks great" surely aren't a profectionist as I am. If you could see the actual result of plastidip upclose, it's not so great. It is as designed.......temporary and removable.

If I can remember when I get home tonight, i'll check mine to see if the part number is visible so I can get it for you.

I did find this part number, DL3Z-8200-HPTM but it's coming back to the grill being UNPAINTED (one picture is unpainted, the other two are glossy black?). I don't think that's the case. I don't think they come from factory unpainted. maybe @Steve@Tasca can shed some light on a part number for you in the mean time?

Yanki, I've already looked into this and talked to Steve about it. That AL3Z number is what he gave me.
What I don't like about Plastidipped grills or wheels is the flat look. It looks cheap and unfinished when its that flat. Glossifier improves the look but that stuff is near impossible to lay down evenly on large surface items and looks horrible when its even the slightest bit uneven. PD can look good on smaller items though.

I went and searched this part # (AL3Z) on some of Ford parts websites and couldn't find anything.
I totally agree with you on plastidip, I don't wanna offend anyone who uses the stuff because it is a cheap alternative to painting. I've just never had much luck with it looking clean and like a painted finish.....especially when using the glossifier as a final coat. Maybe I just suck at spraying the stuff.....who knows. On small items and emblems it does look ok.
