Can't even fit a owners manual, flash light, tirepressure guage in it all at once.

I was noticing how small the glovebox is in my truck just yesterday ... but truthfully, it makes no difference to me. The only thing I've ever really kept in a glove box is my owner's manual / insurance card / registration etc. ... and my extra set of sunglasses.

There are plenty of other places to stash things away in our trucks. I keep my sidearm, flashlight, knife, work gloves, etc. all in the driver's door pocket. I keep some rope and a small towel under the rear seat. And I have my tool box for a whole host of other things I like to have handy on a regular basis.

long story short, I can't complain about the size of the glove box. If they had to make it that small to get me all the room on the interior of the cab, that's fine with me!

I only keep my owners manual a few documents in my glove box. My console is like a bottomless pit so the size of the glove box doesn't bother me.

It is odd. The glove box in my GF's Mazda 3 is 3 times the size of ours.

I made up for the lack of space by using the the door pockets, area under back seats, and behind the back seats.

Helpful, but the problem comes with that little shelf being in the way. You can fit tons in there but getting them out is what is more difficult.

Yeah, I hate that shelf but it's so handy. I throw all of the little quick access things on the shelf and the rest goes down in the pit. I really only use my glove box for the manual.

One of my favorite things about my Audi was that there was a little slot under the steering wheel where the manual/registration pouch would slide into. Left plenty of space in the glove box.

The back seat storage mod is awesome. Didn't know the seat backs folded down until I read it on this forum.

It is. I have a ton of stuff back there. I'm going to install some kind of a permanent latch back there. I'm tired of trying to loop the string o the tiny piece.
