Default Important question please.

This guy has 20" xd monsters with 5.71" backspacing, 35"s tires, a 6" lift and no rubbing. Why does he have no rubbing? He says if they were 18s it would rub. I would like to keep my wheels which are 5.71" BS after i order a lift if they wont rub. What is the deal?

I don't know for sure but I would assume it because of the extra "empty" space the larger rim gives from the back side. Or the fact that a 35in tire on a 20in rim has less of a sidewall that a 35in tire on an 17 or 18in rim, the smaller sidewall would create less of a bulge in the sidewall ultimately resulting in a narrower tire (not tread)
