Not sure; anything except a Chevy or GMC. Probably Ram or Titan XL.

For me the new Tacoma looked good...then I drove it! Gutless and still typical yota crappy feeling interior. I like the tundra and would likely go that route even though I'm not sold on the new toyota reliability compared to the older ones (think late 80's and early 90's).

I'll agree with you on modern reliability being iffy, and the interiors are sub-par, but my trust on the drivetrain goes up through the 04 model. I've seen a 6 cylinder with 210k and a 4 cylinder with 300k(the 4 cylinder is still being used today as a daily driver).

Watch out for frame rust though, that's a major major problem with Toyotas. The issue persisted up to the previous generation(who knowns if it's fixed). Here's what killed our 04 Tacoma in VA. We have Fords and Chevys that were driven in the same conditions that have completely solid frames. Also, there was a "recall" for this, but the dealer here won't do anything.

Yikes! that is pretty bad. I would hope that the new ones would be better! I'm pretty lucky where I live in that there is next to no corrosion issues. It's a mild winter around here and salt/sand are rarely used.

Hopefully Ford will keep on and I won't even have to worry about it, lol!

Many moons ago I had a Toyota p/u 1990 model, drove it off the lot brand new. I was holding out for (hoping Honda would build a truck) but couldn't wait, so yota was the only player. I had a 76 Honda Civic back years earlier, (16 and first car)so was wishing for Honda to do it and when that THING came out It was like kicking the crutch out from under an orphan with a busted leg on xmas eve and dropping a match on the xmas tree on the way out

Honestly this isn't even a question for me. My entire family runs Toyota's. My dad Has the '14 Tundra "Texas Edition" Supercrew with 8" lift and all sorts of sweet things done to it. Before that he had the '08 Tundra TRD Extended cab with 12" lift and even more sweet things. My mother has a '15 4Runner with sweet things done to it. Before that she had the '07 Tundra with sweet things done to it.

So if it came down to it...I would get a Tundra if I still wanted a full size truck, or a Tacoma if I wanted to downgrade.

PS - guys saying Ram...don't do it. My uncle has a Dodge Ram 1500 that goes to crap about every few months or so, and I can not tell you how many I see sitting on the side of the road, new and older models, every other day.
