Default Idling problems on 2004 F150 4.6L

Have any of you experienced idling problems?
My truck when I am at low RPM suddenly starts increasing RPM and then goes down and levels. Sometimes it will go so low and then the motor dies

Who can tell me how to fix this problem?

Default Always Guessing:

As usual, first-things-first: Get the OBD2 system scanned to find a possible trouble code that can lead you to a proper diagnosis.

Off the top of my head (under thinning hair) I'd suspect the IAC, Idle Air Controller, is messing up....or possibly the EGR system, or a combination of the two. The MAF sensors may be dirty as well.

Ditto on the IAC, $65 from ford and your good to go and it takes 2 minutes to replace.
