I put on a Lund tri fold and the quality looks top notch, the seals are nice and thick.

Just got back from a 2200 mile trip hauling 4 golf bags, luggage, cooler and people at 70 mph thru 3 storms and a fog. All dry and 22 mpg trip average. 40 hours on the road, road closure for a burnt out RV down to the frame, a burnt out 18 wheeler and 2 cars with the highway turned to charcoal and a Cat end loader digging thru it to get them loose + a jack knifed with a load of steel. It was one heck of a 4th of July week. I didn't take pictures of the too gruesome family tragedies.

Think what I like best is stuff under cover doesn't always have to be unloaded right away an most may wait until morning.

I rotated the tires, installing the new spare with a newly mounted matching new tire and putting a worn tire on the generic black steel rim. It along with the tool are in the box under the Solid Fold while it once again rains like a Cloud Burst out there all day.

Today I loaded a Dry Wall Hoist, a Leather Easy chair ( 2 ) piece, a HP Washer, A dog carry Crate, a battery jumper and air pump, and a EZGO Golf Cart lift kit into the bed under the Box cover for delivery 260 miles away rain or shine. 4 passengers will ride up in the cab.

One of ours on delivery 300 miles later. Tis what it does for us. 750 lbs of Granite Island top to another happy customer.
This went to another restoration project kitchen. These F150 are set up with 3000 lb load capability and very little tail drop even with this weight fastened to a 2x4 framed carry pallet. It's all about getting on site when needed.

Thanks for the update on your cover and trucks.
My BakFlip Fibermax has been on for a year now. I didn't install the drain tubes - I was going to, but after experiencing a lot of heavy Florida rain with no leaking, I just never bothered. The tonneau is still doing great and keeping everything under it dry even in the heaviest rain.
