how to replace oil pan, 2003 f150
Hello all,
I have a 2003 F150, 5.4L, 4x4 with A/C. I need to replace my oil pan (very large dent). However, I think I may need to remove the lower crossmember and raise the engine? Can anyone tell me if they have done this before and what is involved?

I'll tell you the same thing i tell everyone; go to the local auto parts store and buy yourself a chiltons or haynes book for your truck. they tell you how to take apart and rebuild the entire truck. good luck
