Default How to Remove Sticker from Window?

I've got a pointless sticker on my rear window that's probably been on there for awhile since it's hardened and near impossible to get off. What is the best method to get it off? I've heard about using razors and certain solvents. I have window tint on the rear window (dunno if it's factory or not).

I'll post a pic of it tomorrow when there's light out. Is Windex capable of removing it? That'd be awesome

if its on the outside use a razor. window tint goes on the inside so that is fine.

I would try glass cleaner or rubbing alcohol. If that doesn't work, then Liquid wrench/wd40.

If it's on the outside of the window, use a heat gun or a hair dryer. Get it warm and it wheel peel rite off. It might leave a little residue, that's when you use your glass clean to finish it off.

Thumper got it,,,,heat gun , peel it off, then use Goo-off or yes WD40 will break down the glue and rub it off. If your really worried head down to 'Snops/Tint&Cannibis' shop and have them peel it off for $20. bucks.

Hair dryer, following by peeling, followed by a rub down with 3M adhesive remover (available at auto parts stores and maybe Walmart) and you'll never know it was there. 3 minute job.

If you want to get the sticker of properly - use a dedicated sticker remover. Trust me, it's worth it in the end. There's nothing worse then scrubbing away with some window cleaner trying to remove the glue residue.

You can get dedicated label/ sticker remover aerosols. Something like this:

Check out your local auto supply store.
